Cu-Al Compound Busbar

Cu-Al Compound Busbar

Cu-Al compound busbar refer to the busbar which has two different materials: copper and aluminum.Cu-Al compound busbar is majorly used as module output busbar. Aluminum terminal will be in module and for laser welding, and Copper terminal will be out of module and for bolt/nut connection. Cu-Al compound busbar is produced by molecular diffusion welding or other advanced technology, not by ultrasonic welding.

Advantage of Our Cu-Al Compound Busbar

· More flexible structure

· More reliable for connection

· Can be solid and flexible

· Better electric conductivity

· Less thermal issue during using

Solid Busbar-Welded

Solid busbar is composed by copper plate and aluminum plate. The busbar are welded through molecular diffusion welding machine. The thickness of copper/aluminum plate can be 0.5mm-4.0mm. This busbar will be laser welded in battery module and will service as cell output connection. Read more

Solid Busbar-Melted

Solid busbar is manufactured from Cu-Al compound plate. The Cu-Al compound plate is mainly composed by aluminum plate with 10%-30% thickness of copper plate at partial area. The Cu-Al compound plate is produced by advance manufacture process which need to melt the aluminum ingot first and add copper plate at end of the process. The thickness of aluminum plate can be 3-5mm. This busbar can be laser welded in battery module and will service as cell output connection. Read more

Flexible Busbar- Welded

Flexible Cu-Al compound Busbar is manufactured from 0.1mm or 0.2mm copper or aluminum foil as main part. The 2nd part is a different material with main part. The 2nd part is welded onto main part through molecular diffusion welding machine. This busbar can be laser welded in battery module and will service as cell output connection. Read more
